The Green Bay Packers’ defense is mid-tier, but their run defense has allowed the third most yards through Week 2. This could be deceiving since they just faced the Atlanta Falcons, one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL. The Packers are a young team that made some mistakes late in the game, which ultimately led to a loss.

Saints Vs. Packers Prediction

My Saints vs. Packers prediction is this game will be low-scoring, with each team putting up at most, around 20 points. Carr will be the best QB the Packers have faced so far, which will truly test their secondary since Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, and Michael Thomas are all solid receiving threats.

On the flip side, Jordan Love will be tested by the Saints defense. He was able to throw for three TDs against the Falcons in Week 2 but only threw for 151 yards. The Saints may be able to limit his production in the red zone. 

Aaron Jones was out in Week 2 due to a hamstring injury. If he is able to return against the Saints, this could give the Packers a much-needed offensive boost as AJ Dillon is not cutting it. 

Carr and the Saints will need to be better offensively to beat the Packers. The Saints are also missing their top RBs, Jamaal Williams and Alvin Kamara, which limits their offensive output. This should be a close game and I give the Packers the edge since they will be playing at home, which I believe is the difference maker in this game.
