Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns Prediction, Pick, Odds
I have had some success with my NFL bets so far this season, winning 6/9 of my bets against the spread. Week 3 was particularly rough for my predictions. I was within only a few points across multiple games from going 4/4. I’m back now talking about the Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns. Let me break it down with my Ravens vs. Browns prediction, pick, and odds.
Looking at this Ravens and Browns contest in Week 4, we now have some data and three games worth of film to help us with our predictions. The Browns’ defense has proven to be elite, ranking first overall and first in passing/rushing. This is making up for Deshaun Watson’s questionable play and bonehead decisions that are not showing up in the game statistics.
The Ravens have the 10th-best defense overall. They do have the ability to score when needed but were unable to win a close game at home against the feisty Indianapolis Colts run by Gardner Minshew. The Ravens are also banged up, Odell Beckham Jr., Gus Edwards, Justice Hill, Rashod Batement, and J.K. Dobbins are all injured. This will limit the Ravens’ offense significantly.

Ravens vs. Browns Prediction
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens have not been winning games through the passing game. Jackson only has 608 passing yards on the season and two TDs. The Ravens have been winning games with a strong rushing attack. They have run the ball for 474 yards and six TDs. Their run game will be put to the test against the Browns’ defense. I believe this factor will be the ultimate deciding factor in my Ravens vs. Browns prediction.
The Browns have been able to win games with their suffocating defense. Week 1 they held the Burrow-led Bengals to only three points. Week 3 they held the Tennessee Titans to three points as well. The Browns also appear to be fine without Nick Chubb, for now. Jerome Ford has been an effective rusher. This is more of a testament to the Browns’ offensive line more than anything.
My Ravens vs. Browns prediction is that this game will be very close, but the Browns will be able to control the clock with their rushing attack. The Browns will also be able to minimize big plays from Lamar Jackson. I would not be surprised if the Browns are able to force some turnovers, giving Watson and the offense great field position. The Browns should cover the spread of -2.5.
Ravens vs. Browns Pick
