New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers Player Prop Picks: NFL Player Props

The New Orleans Saints take on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday in an interesting NFL NFC game. I’ve already made my Saints vs. Packers prediction, but now it’s time to put together Saints vs. Packers player prop picks and odds.

Saints vs. Packers Player Prop Picks

AJ Dillon Under Rushing Yards (Waiting for odds to be released)

This pick is dependent on Aaron Jones, and if he plays in Week 3. Dillon has been failing the eye test in Jones’ absence. There is a lack of burst and mobility in his run game that makes it easier for defenders to limit his yardage. His Week 2 stats also prove his ineffectiveness, being the lead back, Dillon only amassed 55 yards on 15 carries

My first Saints vs. Packers player prop picks is to bet the under on his yards in Week 3. The Saints will limit the run game and try to force the Packers into throwing-only situations. The only risky factor in this bet, is the Saints have been allowing five YPC through Week 2, but I do believe Dillon will not be able to take advantage of that weakness.

Derek Carr Over 245.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Derek Carr will be throwing against a mid-level secondary. The Packers allowed a decent game from Justin Fields in Week 1, who threw for 216 yards, one TD, and one INT. In Week 2, Desmond Ridder threw for a similar stat line of 237 yards, one TD, and one INT. It is safe to say Derek Carr is the best QB of the three, and he has a better receiver group with Chris Olave, Michael Thomas, and Rashid Shaheed. Carr has not been finding the endzone in the passing game but has been successfully throwing the ball downfield. My second of three Saints vs. Packers player prop picks is taking the over on Derek Carr’s passing yards.

Jordan Love Over 1.5 Touchdowns (+130)

This pick is based on previous QB performances against the Saints’ secondary. Ryan Tannehill had a rough outing against the Saints secondary in Week 1, throwing for 0 TDs and three INTs, but rookie QB Bryce Young was able to throw one passing TD against the Saints in Week 2 in a very low-scoring game. I believe Jordan Love is a better QB than both Tannehill and rookie Bryce Young.

Love has been finding the endzone a lot. Love has thrown three TDs in each game so far this season. It is safe to say he should continue this streak and find the endzone a couple more times this game against the Saints.
