Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Player Prop Picks: NFL Player Props

Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Player Prop Picks

In my week 5 Ravens vs. Steelers Prediction, Picks, Odds article I am leaning heavily towards the Ravens. My player prop picks will also follow this same sentiment. I believe the Ravens should win convincingly against the Steelers due to quarterback play. The Steelers are starting Mitchell Trubisky, which should limit their offense even more, especially going against the 3rd ranked Ravens defense

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are rolling offensively. Dare I say the Steelers’ defense is overrated? They are currently ranked 29th overall, allowing an average of 403 YPG. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens should have no problem moving the ball and scoring this game. Read my player prop picks for the Ravens vs Steelers matchup below.

Ravens Vs. Steelers Player Prop Picks

Lamar Jackson Over Rushing Yards (Waiting for odds to be released)

The Steelers do have a formidable pash rush. T.J. Watt will be constantly in the backfield trying to catch Lamar Jackson. This should result in more scramble drills for the Ravens and ultimately more rushing yards for Jackson. My confidence in this pick is also increased by Jackson running the ball effectively against the Browns. Watching the game I noticed Jackson has also been smarter with the ball while running, taking less hits and protecting the ball more too.

Mitchell Trubisky Under Passing Yards (Waiting for odds to be released)

The Steelers are struggling on offense. To make matters worse, Pickett, Johnson, and Freiermuth are all injured. The top two receivers on the Steelers are Pickens and Robinson, both have not proven to be a threat through week 4. The Ravens have the 7th ranked passing defense, allowing an average of 203 YPG. With no true receiving threat the Ravens should smother the Steelers’ offense, and limit all passing production.

Gus Edwards Over Rushing Yards (Waiting for odds to be released)

The Ravens should jump out to an early lead and control the game from then on. This will involve a heavy dose of rushing the ball from Gus Edwards. The Steelers have the 29th ranked rushing defense, allowing 149 YPG on the ground. This makes it easy for opposing offenses with strong running games to win time of possession and ultimately win the game. The Ravens are ranked 4th in rushing, averaging 151 YPG. Edwards should have a great game against the Steelers.
