The Falcons have not been able to pass the ball effectively. Desmond Ridder has not played well, and has thrown for 744 yards, 3 TDs, and 3 INTs so far this season. The Falcons have been relying heavily on their run game, with Bijan Robinson rushing for 318 yards so far this season, interestingly enough Robinson has not found the end zone yet. The Texans have the 19th ranked rushing defense, allowing an average 117 YPG. If the Falcons can capitalize on a mediocre run defense, they may be able to control the clock and minimize any critical mistakes Ridder makes.

The Falcons have the 3rd ranked passing defense, allowing an average of 187 YPG. The Texans rank 3rd in passing, averaging 305 YPG. This will be the key matchup, if the Falcons can limit the passing attack from Stroud and the Texans they have a shot at winning this game.  The Texans have all the momentum and are gaining confidence each week.
