I have some player prop picks on this matchup, sticking with some trends that have been occurring and not deviating much from my previous articles covering the Lions and Ravens.

Jared Goff Over PassingYards (Waiting for odds to be released)

I am going to be honest, I did not expect Jared Goff to play as well as he did against the Buccaneers in week 6. The Buccaneers have a respectable defense and were at home. I anticipated a quieter game from Goff. Goff threw for a monstrous 353 yards and 2 TDs against the Buccaneers.

On that note, I predict Goff will have another great game and throw for at least 250 yards and 1 TD. With David Montgomery injured, the running game is now questionable, this will lead to a heavier dose of passing from the Lions. 

Lamar Jackson Over Rushing Yards (Waiting for odds to be released)

The Lions have a terrific defense through week 7. This should make life a little harder for Lamar Jackson in the passing game. I anticipate more scramble drills as the pass coverage limits the Ravens unproven wide receivers and Jackson is avoiding the pass rush Aidan Hutchinson. Jackson will have to take the ball and run many times to keep drives going and keep pace with the Lions offense. The Ravens have faced an elite defense earlier this season, but it was not the offense that won the game, it was turnovers made by the Browns that garnered the lopsided win for the Ravens. Jackson is the Ravens’ leading rusher, averaging 55 YPG on the ground. I anticipate the yards this game to be well above 65 YPG. Take the over on Lamar Jackson’s rushing yards.
