Indianapolis Colts vs. New Orleans Saints Props: NFL Player Props

In my Colts vs. Saints Prediction, Pick, Odds article I am placing my bet on the Colts moneyline -120 @Draftkings. I do believe the Saints defense will be able to limit some production out of the Colts offense, but it will not be enough to win. I also acknowledged how Derek Carr and the Saints are able to move the ball, but struggle to score touchdowns. Carr appears to have found something with Kamara in the receiving game. Both the Saints defense and Alvin Kamara’s performance against the Jaguars factor into my prop picks for this matchup.

Michael Pittman Under 70 Receiving Yards (Waiting for odds to be released)

Michael Pittman averages 70 receiving YPG. The Colts offense will be facing the 4th ranked defense overall and the 4th ranked passing defense, allowing an average of 200 YPG through the air. When the Saints faced the Jaguars in week 7, they were able to hold Christian Kirk to 90 receiving yards. If it were not for a big play at the end of the game, Kirk would be around 60 receiving yards this game. I expect this pattern to follow against the Colts. This will be a tough matchup for Gardner Minshew and the Colts wide receivers. I expect Pittman to be around 60-65 receiving yards this game.

Alvin Kamara Over 55 Receiving Yards (Waiting for odds to be released)

Alvin Kamara was unstoppable in the passing game against the Jaguars in week 7. Kamara was targeted 14 times, had 12 receptions, for 91 receiving yards. The passing game with Kamara helped the Saints move the ball and was very effective against the Jaguars. I expect this to continue against the Colts. Kamara averages 44 receiving YPG. I expect this to be much higher in week 8. I would not be surprised if Kamara reaches at least 75 receiving yards against the Colts. A more conservative bet would be to take the over on 55-60 receiving yards.
