The Los Angeles Rams visit the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday. The Rams are coming off of a tough win against the Seahawks in week 11, winning 17-16, completing the season sweep. This was a tough game on all levels for both teams. 

The Cardinals are coming off of a loss to the Houston Texans. The Cardinals put up a fight against the surging Texans, but lost 21-16. Both of these teams are evenly matched. The Cardinals are still working out offensive kinks with Kyler Murray starting at quarterback. The Rams are trying to make it through another week with no serious injuries. This game is a pick’em. Rams vs. Cardinals Prediction

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford had a quiet game against the Seahawks. He threw for 190 yards, 1 touchdowns, and 1 interception. The Rams offense ranks 17th overall, averaging 329 yards per game. Their strength is the passing game, the Rams rank 14th in passing offense, averaging 243 passing yards per game. 

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray threw for 240 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception against the Texans. Murray added 51 rushing yards to his stats as well. Since the return of Murray, the Cardinals have been more effective moving the ball, touchdowns have not followed through. Running back James Conner returned to action against the Texans and will be a significant factor in this team’s success against the Rams. The Cardinals rank 9th in rushing offense, averaging 126 rushing yards per game. The Rams rank 22nd in rushing defense, allowing an average of 117 rushing yards per game. 

I expect the Cardinals to be able to sustain long drives with their rushing attack, especially with Murray being able to scramble for easy yards too. This strategy will keep Stafford and Rams off the field and ultimately lead the Cardinals to a close win at home. My bet is on the Cardinals moneyline.
